ABOUT US
Heather began her dancing career at the age of four.
Her first debut was a tap dance for her talent show at Wind Point Elementary School. She displayed such a love for dance
and enthusiasm, her mom knew she was going to do great things for the dance world. Heather stayed dancing with
her first teacher, Judy Brown, until Masters formed in 1982. Heather studied break-dancing/hip hop and pop
n lock in Milwaukee. By the age of 20 she was teaching at Masters. Heather continues her education by attending
various workshops and intensives in Milwaukee and Chicago. Heather's most recent master class was with the Pulse tour
in Chicago. While there she danced and took classes with Shane Sparks, Mia Michaels, Brian Friedman, Wade Robson, Chris
Judd, Laurie Ann Gibson and Dave Scott. Although Heather does not believe that competition is the best atmosphere
for most dancers she has had dancers win Platinum's and high point scores at competitions. Heather's creative nature
and love for others to succeed in dance is an inspiration to the dance world. Her knowledge in children's dance education
is effective, honest and a healthy environment for children. Besides Heather's endless work at Masters as the owner
and creative director, she is also the Head Director of the Dance Department at Kenosha's YMCA. Because of Heather's proper
dance education and an honest love for dance, she has the ability to extend this knowledge and love to all of her dancers.
Heather is also very active in the business side of Masters. She is always taking a class for something, somewhere.
Heather has been a blessing to Masters and to all of those that get to know her.

The Kent girls have been raised by very artistic, creative
and business orientated parents. Their father, Chuck Kent, is a well known and respected, retired principal (as
well as an art teacher)from Racine Unified School District. Their mother, Sherry Allen, the previous partner/owner of
Masters has belonged to many Clubs, Dance Organizations and Theater/Drama/Plays in the Racine/Milwaukee area. Their
step parents have also been a part of the girls artistic upbringing. Heather and Holly were raised with dance in their
lives on a daily basis. It is nice to see the girls incorporate their love for dance with children's education.
In turn offering classes to the community with the belief that it takes the help of a community to assist
in raising our children into productive adults. This family is a very important part of the Art and Dance
World in Wisconsin. Their knowledge of dance education and child education is superior to say the least. Combined
the girls offer over 40 years of dance experience. They are always looking for new ways to reach out to children with
their love for dance. Stop by to say "hi" and visit one of the schools, you won't want to leave!
Holly Kent, Sarah, Holly and Seth all attended a dance workshop August
8, 2008 at Studio 21 Pom & Dance where they were instructed by Master dancer Cedric Gardner, from Fox's hit TV show "So

so much fun, I didn't want it to end!"
